Digipak - Drafts - research

As asked by our subject teacher we were asked to create a Digi-Pak consisting of four images. Displayed below is our front cover for the digipak, the front cover consists of the artists name at the top, place upon a black background is a Wolf howling into the nights sky surrounded by a moon. The image of Jonny is darkened almost as if he is fading into the background. The writing "The Album Starts Now" the significance of the writing is, the lyrics that Jonny speaks of are his past experiences which he was going through and by letting out his emotions hes becoming free.

The back cover is also placed on a black background with a tribal effect placed on top of the image. The Wolf image is still being used to show the darkness of his life, which also has the tribal graphic layered over it. The selection of songs which we have placed onto the back part of the cover, represent his best work in which he has done. The bottom of the cd cover is a pretend artist label as well as a barcode to see where we would place it on the cover.

Above is one of our other ideas for a cd cover it is an italian walkway whilst we have overlayed two images of the dog. The dog is at different angles in the picture and a suttle style of writing, the reason for a non fancy style writing is the fact that we did not want to draw lots of attention to his name but focus more upon the cd cover. This would be a front cover as its minimal and contains little writing.
